Your Android phone, inside your Mac.
Intrelio connects the two devices you use all day. Copy on the phone and paste on the Mac; read the phone's notifications without picking it up. Encrypted end to end, with no account to create.
What it does today.
Two features, finished. The others arrive one at a time, when they are ready.
A shared clipboard
Text copied on one device is available on the other at once, in both directions. At home or at the office it travels over the local network; when you are away, through a relay that only ever sees encrypted data.
One Mac can be paired with three phones.
Phone notifications on the Mac
Notifications arrive as native macOS notifications, with the name of the phone and of the app. When a notification carries a picture, such as the sender's photo, you see it alongside.
Dismiss one on the Mac and it leaves the phone; dismiss it on the phone and it leaves the Mac. You choose which apps to leave out.
Built so your data stays yours.
Nothing that travels between phone and Mac can be read by anyone else, us included.
- Pairing with a QR code
- The Mac shows a code valid for two minutes; the phone scans it. From then on the two devices recognise each other by their keys.
- End-to-end encryption
- Every session is encrypted and authenticated between the two devices. Clipboard and notification content is never written to logs or stored on a server.
- Local network first
- On the same network the devices talk directly. The relay is used only when they are apart, and it forwards data it cannot decrypt.
- No account
- No sign-up, profile or password. Identity is a key generated on the device, and it stays there.
Planned.
In the order we expect to ship them. None of these is available yet.
- Images and files in the clipboardScreenshots, photos and documents, not only text.
- The phone's screen on the MacSee and use the phone in a window.
- The phone as trackpad and keyboardControl the Mac from the phone.
- Sending content to the MacOpen on the Mac a link or file shared from the phone.
What you need.
- Mac
- macOS 13 or later.
- Phone
- Android 8 or later.
- Background clipboard
- Android does not let background apps read the clipboard: this feature needs Shizuku on the phone.
- Notifications
- Notification access on Android and notification permission on macOS. The app asks for them when they are needed.
It is not on the stores yet.
Intrelio is in development and used every day by the people building it. Leave your e-mail and we will write once, when it can be downloaded.
We are setting up sign-up. Until then this site collects no e-mail addresses.
